About April Ferry

April Ferry is a life-long Philadelphia area resident. She attended the University of the Arts and received her BFA in illustration in 2009. Her biggest influence is the natural world and her artwork is the through line of the effervescent and macabre, finding them to be two sides of the same coin. Ferry creates in traditional media and primarily uses polymer clay and acrylic paint, as well as found objects in her sculptures
